Since 2007, I’ve worked across multiple sectors in recruitment. I’ve also always been entrepreneurial and started businesses in both Manchester and Chicago before returning to London and jumping into the energy sector.

We put bespoke service and entrepreneurialism at the core of everything we do – essential in a fast-moving industry. The markets have and continue to change rapidly. For example, renewables used to be a ‘nice to have’. Now it’s the core of the energy mix. Nothing is off the shelf with us. Our clients benefit from a bespoke service that can rise to the most complex of challenges, from joint ventures in war torn countries, to start-ups on single placements pre-investment, to full RPO solutions.

As global MD, I get to be involved in deals around the world. I love the variety and the challenge and I take great pride helping to grow emerging economies – and our business. It’s a great feeling to see trainees grow their careers around the world and take new opportunities. And while it’s exciting to see how far we have come, I’m buzzing to see how much further we can go.

I have yet to meet a more determined bunch of committed, resilient consultants. They are our key strength and they are enabled by the fact that we do energy and only energy – I haven’t found a competitor yet who can say that or who covers the full energy mix across the globe.
