A leading engineering firm are seeking an experienced Lead Process and Facilities Engineer to join their team in London. As a Lead Process and Facilities Engineer we are seeking someone with a minimum of 8 years' experience within the industry. The Lead Process Engineer will be in charge of all process aspects of the Brownfield upgrade Project, from Design to Commissioning offshore. Your responsibilities will also include the follow-up of Procurement and Delivery. The project consists in increasing the produce water treatment capacity, the water injection capacity and the power generation on an existing offshore jacket platform in west Africa. Whilst you will mainly be based in the London office, you will be required to travel to the site for a few days to be based in the field. The successful candidate must therefore be happy to travel for this role.

Some of your daily responsibilities will include:
-  The process engineer will be based at Engineering Contractor office at the start of the project and will follow the engineering work. She/He will represent the Project Manager when not here.
·  Procurement of process equipment:
-  The process engineer will prepare the request for quotation and actively participate in the selection and emission of purchase orders.
-  She/He will follow the procurement and insure delivery on time of the various project equipment.
·  Fabrication follow-up of process equipment:
-  The process engineer will proceed to fabrication site visits and attends to the factory acceptance tests.
· Installation on site of process equipment:
- The process engineer will follow on site the installation of process equipment.
- Long term mission offshore to be expected during project execution.
· Commissioning on site of process equipment:
-  The process engineer will be in charge of pre-commissioning and commissioning of the new process equipment after installation on site
-  She/He will have to provide a close-out report at the end of all the operations, and provide remote support to Affiliate after the start-up.
 
Essential Skills Required:
Must be experienced Lead Process Engineer within the Oil and Gas sector
Must have worked both in the office and in the field
Must have worked on upstream brownfield projects
Must have a minimum of 8 years' experience within the industry 
Knowledge and understanding of HYSYS is highly desired
