My client is a specialist in solar for rooftop, ground-mounted and floating solar projects. They’ve diversified from residential solar projects into the EPC of larger scale solar developments. They’re passionate about solar and have seen year on year growth on projects and headcount. It’s important to them to distinguishing themselves from the competition. They pride themselves on their design, system knowledge, skilled assembly, and extensive experience with BIPV systems. The Position:
They need a strong leader to join them as Project Manager, who will help them realise their further growth in the execution of various solar projects. In this role you will report directly into the company’s Director. You will be fully responsible for the technical, financial and logistical realisation within the approved planning of the projects. It’s crucial that you’re experience in managing a number of individuals in the implementation of the projects. Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the direct management and, where necessary, support of the employees in the wider project team. It’s important that you guide a varying number of projects and employees. Ultimately, your main focus will be on drawing up various schedules and monitoring the terms and targets set therein for the EPC of project.
It’s important that you’re comfortable implementing and monitoring the agreements made in the project team. Therefore, the communication is key. You will have to oversee the management of materials and tools for the projects you’re assigned. Maintaining constant contact with employees inside / outside the production unit and with stakeholders.
As a Project Manager you will have to participate in the construction, financial management and coordination of internal meetings. It’s imperative that you can manage the timely and correct execution of the work. In accordance with the working methods, quality requirements and safety regulations applicable at the business. Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree in an electrical discipline
- Over 3 years’ project management experience in the solar market
- Detailed knowledge of land classifications and local legislations
- Proven track record of working with time / budget constraints on solar projects
- Comfortable working with various industry codes, standards and design guidelines
- Willingness to travel across the country
- Fluent in English and Dutch, additional languages are a bonus
