The business specialise in the multi-utility development of custom built District Heating systems throughout the UK. After securing a number of high profile projects are look to add an experienced Commissioning/Adoptions Manager to their growing team.

Offering market leading solutions, the business can offer significant finance, assist with design, build and operation of District Heating systems. You will be part of a business at the forefront in developing and expanding sustainable communities working with Local authorities, businesses and property developers working to reduced cost and create value while ensuring a well-designed yet low risk systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for defining and writing the commissioning procedure including outline specific requirements including: Testing, Inspections, and Commissioning requirements before hand over to operations.
  • Manage the process of Commissioning into full operational management.
  • Provide technical support to the design team, reviewing drawings and suggesting improvements to optimize performance.
  • Verify initial concept through to the detailed design.
  • Oversee and ensure the obtaining of raw materials necessary for project
  • Review/witness Internal or external installations engaging with stakeholder where necessary (dependent on in-house or external EPC).
  • Overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of construction and implementation phase with necessary documentation e.g. (HSE).
  • Assist in the optimizing of performance/ identify areas of performance.
Qualifications required:
  • Proven experience in commissioning large operational energy projects, preferably in district heating.
  • Experience in the design and operation of district heating systems, CHP, boilers, energy centres etc.
  • Experience liaising with stakeholders.
  • Competence in IT software (Microsoft Excel, Word etc).
  • Knowledge of CIBSE, Electrical and UK regulatory standards.
  • It would be an advantage to hold knowledge in energy software programming (E.g. EnergyPro/AutoCAD etc.)
  • Understanding of BMS/SCADA/OMS
 
Additional qualifications (Not essential but would benefit):
  • Degree level in mechanical or related engineering discipline.
  • Chartered status from respected institute.
