JDRoss Energy have partnered with a renewable energy company who are seeking a Business Developer to join their team in Lyon. As Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities for the company to develop large scale solar projects throughout France.

Your new role
 
The company have set the target to develop a further 100MW this year and you will play a pivotal role in helping the team to achieve this. You will be responsible for managing projects from early stage prospection through to EPC construction.
 
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
 
  • Identifying new sites for the company to develop large scale solar projects.
  • Negotiating with land owners.
  • Securing land for the company to develop solar projects.
  • Managing the studies of the project.
  • Obtaining agreement from municipalities.
  • Obtaining the authorisation to build.
 
What you will need
 
  • A minimum of 2 Years of experience in identifying and securing land for large scale projects (Ideally solar, wind or another renewable energy).
  • Higher education.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Commercially driven.
