Senior Project Manager
$100000 - $180000 per annum

Midwest based Solar and renewable energy contractor is looking to add a Senior Project Manager to there growing team.  This position would be onsite in Northern California/The Bay area, but would be remote for the right candidate provided they reside in the Pacific Time Zone.  

Primary Responsibilities
  • Act as on site owner’s representative throughout project life cycle
  • Run meetings with subcontractors, client and IGS parties
  • Maintain and enforce subcontractor agreements
  • Monitor project progress in accordance with contract requirements, highlight and mitigate issues that arise throughout construction cycle
  • Coordinate site activities between subcontractors, site host, and office
  • Review associated contracts, identify requirements, and create and manage project plan to meet requirements
  • Identify project risks, create a mitigation plan for these risks, and monitor throughout project life cycle
  • Lead coordination between project stakeholders, utilities, vendors, and contractors.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise, as appropriate, to meet changing needs of project requirements.
  • Maintain project notes and other records, ensures quality in contracts and P.O. process, monitors project budget and metrics, conducts research and analysis as needed.
  • Oversee engineering and project management teams in regards to RFI’s and submittals

Required Skills
  • 7+ Years working on large scale Utility Solar Projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relate field
  • Ability to manage multiple projects through all phases including development, design, and construction
  • Develop and maintain project schedules through knowledge of best practices and schedule management tools (Microsoft Project experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to successfully negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements, in accordance with budgets and schedules
  • California General contractors License a Plus
