EPC Project Manager- Vedbaek
JD Ross Energy is currently working exclusively with one of our key clients in Denmark, perhaps the fastest growing solar company in the region, for a EPC Project Manager to join their dynamic team.
 
Your new role- Construction of utility scale solar cell projects You will report to the Associate Director EPC. The job is based at my client’s Office in Vedbæk. Travel will mostly be daytrips within Denmark.
 
You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders internally as well as externally e.g., client and Community Relations, external Project Communication including steering committees, Management and other team members in both Denmark, the United States and Mexico as well as external partners and advisors.
As EPC Project Manager you’ll;
  • support the Development Team during the development phases of utility scale solar projects primarily in Denmark but also in Sweden and the Baltics.
  • lead the execution during the construction phase to achieve the objectives in terms of safety, quality, timeline and budget to Commercial Operation Date.
  • Daily tasks and responsibilities:
  • Change Order Management
  • Contribute to negotiation and execution of construction agreements  
  • Ensure compliance to Project CAPEX
  • Ensure Compliance with Customer Service Agreement
  • Ensure compliance with environmental requirements
  • Implementation and monitoring of Project Quality Control and Safety Compliance
  • Making recommendations related to the project’s portfolio (i.e., technical issues, timing, supply chain, etc.)  
  • Monitor progress of construction and interface with construction subcontractors for all key execution matters
  • Projects design and engineering packages
  • Preparation of CAPEX budgets, project scope and schedules
  • Projects risks exposure analysis and mitigation plan
 
What you’ll need
  • Engineering Degree.
  • 5 years minimum relevant EPC Project Management experience from the energy sector or from industry, infrastructure, construction or related.
  • Solid project portfolio management experience combined with knowledge of engineering and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in Danish
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
