Project Health & Safety Advisor - Windfarm Queensland 

Our client is Australia’s largest renewable energy investor, developer and operator with 2.4 gigawatts of renewable energy in operation, with an impressive development pipeline of 20+ GW. Reporting to the Project HSE Manager - the Project HSE Advisor is responsible for providing safety advice, investigating + conducting safety audit services across the wind farm project.

This position will work closely alongside the internal/external stakeholders, contractors + service providers to ensure organisational conformance with legal/contractual requirements & evaluate operational compliance with approved safety management systems. 


Required Qualifications: 

  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
  • Registered Auditor – Safety Management Systems (desirable)
  • ICAM or equivalent investigation qualification or experience
  • White Card
  • Current Australian driver’s licence

Experience Required: 
  • Demonstrated construction HSE experience in a similar project based position (5+ years essential)
  • Ability to maintain effective and collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of relevant legislation - governing safety management of construction/high-risk activities
  • Demonstrated ability + experience in providing safety advice within construction, electricity, manufacturing or similar industries
  • Demonstrated experience + skills in auditing/investigations
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgement + problem solving, with the ability to resolve/address issues on site
  • Demonstrated positive attitude with a willingness to take on a wide range of diverse tasks and adjust to competing priorities
