JD Ross Energy are seeking a highly skilled Secondary Substation Design Engineer for our Australian based client that has a huge portfolio across a multitude of different sectors. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and review of electrical/secondary design, including cable rating, load flow, insulation. coordination, earthing and lightning protection studies, etc.
• Liaise with client engineers, suppliers and subcontractors in the delivery of designs, including. close liaison with Civil, Structural, Buildings and Site Services disciplines.
• Work closely with and provide guidance to, the substation drafting and design team.
• Manage support functions to a diverse portfolio of delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Electrical engineering or other relevant technical discipline.
• Experience in Secondary Substation Design.
• Experience with working on Australian Utility projects is a must.
• Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
