We’ve partnered alongside Raygen – a renewable technology developer whose unique method of electricity generation provides a cost effective solutions in the industrial arena with ambitions to be at the forefront in spearheading clean infrastructure projects worldwide.

As a result of successful commercial endeavors nationally over recent months, they’re currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer involved the design, development and execution of a high volume manufacturing line for project delivery.
Day to day activities will involve a wide range of tasks related to delivery of a manufacturing line including strong liaison with internal stakeholders including Product Development engineers, procurement, R&D, commercial and O&M teams, and external parties such as supply chain partners and RayGen’s strategic investors.
 
Responsibilities
  • Specify and develop manufacturing processes for volume production of RayGen’s products including establishing tact time and production steps.
  • Conduct studies and implement automation into the assembly process as appropriate.
  • Work closely with the product design team to influence the design for efficient production.
  • Develop and maintain project plans within areas of responsibilities; identifying and communicating risks.
  • Apply suitable technical review and risk management processes for all engineering outputs
  • Formalise and document designs and verification test results
  • Establish operating models for performance prediction and system optimization.

Requirements
  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline.
  • 5 + years manufacturing engineering experience in high tech, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in automotive or similar manufacturing environment highly regarded.
  • Experience in working in a diverse team.
  • Experienced in managing suppliers and establishing partnerships.
  • Highly skilled in managing risk, scheduling and reporting
