Project Planner - Renewable Energy Sector 

Location: Brisbane Based


Our market leading client here in Brisbane is currently looking for an experienced Project Planner to join their team, responsible for planning and scheduling various project workloads across the renewable energy sector. This person will work closely within the team to gather/analyse information, prepare status reports and document work orders for various projects.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Participate in meetings/workshops to obtain information essential to supporting the construction activity project schedules
  • Review and evaluate tender project schedules + make recommendations to wider project team/management team on preferred tendered schedule during the procurement phase
  • Responsible for schedule integrity to ensure schedules are compliant with their standards and procedures and maintained to the highest quality possible
  • Develop and implement Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) including alignment with Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) with the project management team 
  • Provide support in development of master integrated schedule for portfolio of projects in order to monitor key activities/milestones
  • Engage with Project Managers to review operations and develop solutions for scheduling demands
  • Conduct the required schedule baseline management including validation of logic, critical path analysis, health check and quantitative risk analysis
  • Prepare appropriate milestone and schedule reports for various stakeholders including the executives to help them in decision making
  • Analyse and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order raised to enable clarity on change effects.
