Leading national advisory/Law firm to Government and private energy companies.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Assist and work with the Practice Manager in the management of the day-to-day administration and operation of the firm and to support the firm’s lawyers and consulting team to provide exceptional service to its clients. Reporting to the Practice Manager, Principal Partner and CEO.

KEY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Practice Manager with firm invoicing arrangements.
  • Assist with tenancy requirements.
  • Source and manage appropriate and cost-effective venues for client functions and events.
  • Coordinate expenses and reimbursements.
  • Participate and assist in the induction of new team members.
  • Work with the Principal and Practice Manager to update the firm’s website.
  • Work with the Principal and Practice Manager to update the firm’s marketing and external facing materials and documents.
  • Organise and manage travel arrangements for team members including air travel and accommodation.
  • Organise and coordinate team meetings.
  • Coordinate and purchase office equipment.
  • Assist with implementing Business Development activities, initiatives and plans.
  • Assist in maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
  • General administrative and management assistance.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  • Proven experience in a senior administrative/management role.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to work and a commitment to providing excellent service to the team and the firm’s clients.
  • Ability to coordinate competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
  • Tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience in the use of Practice Management software.
  • Experience in LEAP for law.
  • Experience in the use of CRM database.
