Product Manager
€75000 - €80000 per annum

JDRoss is representing a Europe-headquarted renewables start-up in their search for a Product Manager in Frankfurt, in Germany.

They are committed to providing a wide range of renewable energy products and services, including solar power systems, inverters, energy storage solutions, EV charging systems, etc. and related components, to the international market.

Responsibilities:


  • Act as Product Owner in the regional markets to manage the product lifecycle from planning, launch, promotion, marketing, sales, deployment and complete customer experience;
  • Role as an expert in solar inverter (microinverter, string inverter, hybrid inverter etc.) technologies, markets and regulatory environments;
  • Work closely with Sales, Project Management, R&D, Engineering, Production, etc. teams, prioritize product features, maintain product roadmaps, monitor and drive product release schedule to meet customer requirements or project timelines;
  • Support sales in customer meetings, develop technical documents and presentations, pilot projects, participate in RFP projects, and ensure a high quality product and satisfied customers.
  • Communicate and train sales team, distributors, installers about product details and specifications, technical advantages, system applications and product benchmark against competitors.
  • Contribute to product strategies, go-to-market tactics, and commercial proposals; align crossorganizational internal resources on these initiatives;
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Implement internal processes including but not limited to R&D, Sales, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), etc. s


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics or a comparable degree.
  • Experience in hardware or software product development, product management, technical sales, system integration, engineering, etc. related to solar inverter (micro inverter, string inverter, hybrid inverter, etc.), or battery energy storage systems.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of photovoltaic system integration, especially electrical and mechanical design of solar inverter.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a desire to succeed and emphasis on customer satisfaction
  • Good analytical, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to develop models, frameworks and logic for technical proposals, customer communications and use cases;
  • Fluency in English and German.


Compensation:
  • Competitive package with a basic salary, plus a bonus scheme and a car.
  • 30 holidays
  • Full time, permanent German contract, standard pension and healthcare scheme.
