Senior Project Manager - Solar (UK & Ireland) - Hybrid Dublin based


My client is a leading provider of accessible clean energy offers zero-capex services that eliminate barriers to sustainability, allowing clients to benefit from solar energy without any upfront costs. This innovative "as-a-service" business model has transformed the lighting and solar industry by leveraging technology and finance to disrupt an industry that has remained largely unchanged for a century.

They are hiring an experienced Project Manager to work with the operations and sales team. The right candidate will play a big role in forming and managing relationships with clients, suppliers, and installation partners. As this is a client-facing role, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. The ideal candidate will combine technical engineering expertise with strong project management skills to deliver solar PV systems on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the solar energy projects from initial concept through to commissioning and handover.
• Client facing role and meeting them from time to time on sites across Ireland/UK.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Managing finances, budgeting, resources, materials, and timelines to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Reporting to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensuring that all projects meet quality assurance standards and safety regulations.
• Providing technical oversight for the design and engineering of solar PV systems.
• Conducting site assessments and surveys.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Renewable Energy or Construction studies
• At least of 3-4 years in previous PV Solar project management and/or project design
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV system design, electrical systems, and grid integration
• Previous experience managing project budgets and delivery of projects
• Good working knowledge of project management tools like Helioscope ,PvSyst, and similar applications
