About the client
JD Ross has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asset Manager to join a leading independent power producer to manage, maintain and maximise the performance and value of Renewable Energy assets in Australia. Extensive pipeline of renewable energy assets in a dynamic and growing international business. Play a pivotal role in the transition to a sustainable energy future. 

Key Responsibilities:

• You will act as a key decision maker regarding the Strategic Asset Management and Operational Performance Assurance of various assets
• You will work to develop the O&M scope, create technical solutions and O&M reporting
• Ensure operations and maintenance performance targets are achieved
• Coordinate with stakeholders and negotiate contractual agreements with third parties
• Supervise contractors and external consultants involved in preparation and execution of the Operation and Maintenance activities 
• Prepare the budget forecasts and create financing strategies
• Process safety management
• Ensure Health and Safety objectives are achieved

 
Requirements/Desirables:

• Tertiary Qualification in Engineering
• Proven experience of supervision, leadership and co-ordination of O&M activities
• Experience within the Renewable Energy Industry – wind, solar, HV infrastructure
• Trouble shooting and problem solving skills
• Contract management experience
• Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety
• Effective leadership and supervision skills
• Effective planning and organizational skills
