• 30+ years historically across solar projects with a recent transition into Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
• Impressive project portfolio with a strong reputation in the market working on large scale projects across Australia.

About the Role

• Lead the integration and delivery of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Australia.
• Manage the successful execution of utility scale battery projects in the NEM
• Ensure commissioning requirements are met for large-scale battery systems
• Provide technical leadership on energy storage system integration
• Develop strategies for integrating batteries with other OEM products
• Identify new business opportunities in BESS projects
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy market, including suppliers, grid operators, and regulatory bodies.

About You

• Ideally you will have a background in project delivery or will have had experience working for an OEM specialising in energy storage
• Experience in working on >100 MW battery projects in Australia or globally.

• Strong hands-on experience in BESS projects
• Proven ability to understand and overcome the challenges of integrating Battery systems into the grid whilst complying with regulatory frameworks
• Proven leadership experience
