Join a leading global Independent Power Producer, renowned for its commitment to sustainable energy solutions and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager to join the Sydney based O&M team to oversee renewable projects across Australia from a techno-commercial perspective. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-impact role within a forward-thinking organisation committed to shaping the future of renewable energy.

Responsibilities include;

Developing and managing contracts for sub-contracting activities, implementing cost and efficiency improvements, and overseeing budget planning to ensure financial efficiency and strategic alignment.
Spearhead management of the O&M cost and pricing models, while driving improvements for both current operations and upcoming project platforms.
Liaise with and manage relationships with local authorities and utilities (AEMO etc.)
Conduct operational review sessions to ensure financial controls are met
Assist with the acquisition of necessary O&M permits and licenses
Track and Report O&M activities and plant performance’s KPIs to shareholders
Develop and refine operational protocols/procedures aimed at enhancing process efficiency
Perform data analysis using monitoring systems such as SCADA
Design and implement operational protocols and procedures to enhance existing processes

About you:

Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
5+ years experience in similar positions
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to take initiative and collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
Contract Management experience
Strong knowledge of the Renewable Energy Industry, the energy market and Australian grid code
Project Management Qualification – desirable
Experience in Data Analytics and systems monitoring analysis
