The business has a strong focus on the development and execution of various renewable energy projects across commercial solar, battery energy storage, EV charging and microgrids.

Are you an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager looking for your next exciting challenge? We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a fast-growing Australian company dedicated to providing sustainable energy solutions across the country.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring project budgets and ensuring financial targets are met
• Taking a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans
• Leading contractual negotiations
• Providing guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project outcomes
• Working closely with the procurement team to ensure materials and resources are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Conducting regular site visits to ensure project progress is on track and quality standards are being met
• Collaborating with the safety team to ensure all safety protocols are being followed on site
• Providing regular updates to clients on project progress and addressing any concerns they may have
• Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle

 
YOU WILL HAVE: 

• 8+ years experience in project management, renewable energy, construction and/or engineering
• Preference will be given to applicants with a background in electrical trade, project management, engineering, or related fields
• Proficiency in comprehending all aspects of a project's life cycle, with a strong technical knowledge
• Hold a complex understanding of the renewables industry – Experience in Solar/Solar Farms/Ground Mount is highly desirable
• Demonstrated expertise in overseeing staff members and contractors
• Proven track record of effectively managing budgets and ensuring cost control
