JD Ross Energy are seeking a Senior Secondary Design Engineer.

The Senior Design Engineer will lead the design and delivery of substations and supporting systems, including protection, SCADA, and energy storage.
In this position, you will act as a technical leader, offering mentorship, direction, and development opportunities to other secondary design engineers, while promoting quality, consistency, and ongoing enhancement throughout all design deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of deigns for substations, protection, SCADA, and energy storage systems.
Drive quality, consistency, and continuous improvement across all design deliverables.
Ensuring that designs meet all applicable standards and project specifications.
Mentoring and technical leadership of the design team.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to uphold design quality and align with business goals.
Develop scope and engage with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with technical standards and deliverables.

About you:

5yrs + experience in secondary systems, substations upto 132kV.
Experienced in designing complex secondary systems for major clients, including data centres.
Experience in a technical lead role for a design team.
Demonstrated experience performing in a similar role.
High-level of communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor of Engineering.
