JD Ross Energy are seeking a Technical Director - Transmission & Distribution, for a global powerhouse in the energy and power space.

The main responsibility of this role will be to deliver high-quality Transmission & Distribution services across this client's core markets.
This will include winning work/writing proposals. Developing strategies that align with the sector and objectives. You will be collaborating to build relationships and lead effective teams, accross projects and locations and to support overall professional development. 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert technical input across a range of HV transmission & distribution projects (up to 500kV), ensuring quality assurance.
• Coordinate & develop project design deliverables inc. Design Management Plans, Document Control Strategies & Master Document Registers in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team.
• Manage/mentor design teams to review & approve T&D design packages across greenfield & brownfield developments.
• Represent the company as a technical ambassador, contributing through leadership, conference participation, whitepapers & industry forums.

About You

• Electrical engineering degree.
• Demonstrated expertise in T&D infrastructure projects up to 500kV, within utility, renewable energy, or heavy industrial settings.
• Understanding of Australian standards and utility-specific technical/design guidelines.
• Experience leading the design/delivery of complex multi-disciplinary projects within consulting or utility owner/operator environments.
• Strong capability in the preparation & technical review of connection studies, risk assessments & feasibility reports.
