Quality Manager

JDRoss continue our partnership with a power cable company that has been established for over 100 years and employs more than 300 people In Germany.
This year the company received an investment of over 100 million euros to support future growth as well as research and development.

They are now looking for an quality assurance manager to act as a lead in Germany for their newly established quality division in their production facility

Your tasks
• Quality assurance: Support in the development, implementation and execution of quality assurance measures to ensure product and process quality.
• Process optimization: Analysis and improvement of existing quality assurance processes in order to achieve continuous improvement.
• Documentation and reporting: Creation and maintenance of quality documentation, evaluations and statistics as well as regular reporting to management.
• Error and complaint management: Analysis and processing of customer complaints and internal quality deviations as well as initiation and follow-up of corrective measures.
• Audits: Preparation and execution of internal and external audits (e.g. ISO 9001) as well as follow-up and resolution of audit deviations.
• Training and consulting: conducting training courses for employees on quality assurance and compliance with quality standards.
• Supplier quality management: Cooperation with suppliers to ensure the quality of materials and delivered products.
• Risk management: Identification of risks in production processes and development of measures to minimize risks

Qualifications
• Degree in quality management, engineering or a comparable qualification
• Experience in quality assurance, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge of quality assurance methods and tools (e.g. FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma) and familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001
• Confident handling of quality instruments and software, e.g. ERP systems and statistical analysis tools
• Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills and a team-oriented way of working
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English

Package
• Monthly Salary of €6,054
• Christmas Bonus
• Flexible start and finish time i.e. can start at 6 and finish at 3 or start at 9 and finish at 5
