Sustainability Manager
$150000 per annum

Are you someone that wants to lead projects in a specialist team, driving climate action and ESG transformation across Australia?

If so, this boutique consultancy is growing their sustainability team and are after a leader with deep expertise across net zero planning, emissions reduction and climate-related disclosures.

You will work alongside a team of systems thinkers, data scientists and policy experts to solve complex challenges with clarity and impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Delivering and overseeing scopes of work
• Role transitioning from individual contributor to scope manager
• Take ownership of commercial management
• Be accountable technically and have strong core technical abilities across decarbonisation pathways and tools
• Have ownership of the delegation of tasks - tracking budgeting, invoicing etc
• Work directly with leadership to solve problems with clients – be client facing, building relationships and client engagement

Experience and requirements:

• 7+ years' experience leading scopes and sub scopes
• Carbon accounting, climate risk, and ESG strategy
• Strong understanding of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions
• Desirable not essential - experience/knowledge of AI infrastructure
• Consulting background
• Brisbane based candidate
