JDRoss has partnered with a leading power cable manufacturer who have been established in Germany for over 100 years.
Following a recent investment of more than €100 million to support future growth, research, and development, the company has secured three major projects in Germany, providing a strong pipeline of work for the next 10 years.
As a result, they are now looking for a High Voltage Cable Jointers (Monteur) to join their growing team.
The Role
You will be involved in the installation and commissioning of some of Europe's most significant high-voltage cable infrastructure projects, working with cutting-edge technology and industry-leading equipment.
Responsibilities
Installation of high-voltage power cables in Germany and internationallyAssembly and installation of XLPE cable accessories (joints and terminations) up to 500/550 kVWorking with the latest installation methods and state-of-the-art equipmentSupervision and coordination of installation activities on siteSupporting experienced installation technicians on major construction projectsFuture opportunity to take responsibility for your own project sites following the training and onboarding periodEnsuring compliance with all electrical and construction site safety requirements
Requirements
Completed vocational training in an electrical or metalworking tradePrevious construction site experienceJointer experience from 110KV and aboveSound understanding of electrical and construction site safety regulationsWillingness to travel extensivelySelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilitiesValid driving licenceFluent in German or English
