About Us:
JD Ross is currently representing an inverter manufacturer in their search for a Technical Support Manager for Germany. The business has an office in the Netherlands and is operating throughout the whole Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales team to plan and complete technical exchange with local customers, train clients and set forth detailed technical solutions etc.
  • Hold customer trainings face-to-face and online, create and manage local technical documentation, establish a knowledge data base, and represent the business in exhibitions.
  • Analyze legal technical requirements and certifications for defined countries and drive execution of agreed and required certificates.
  • Strong support to sales team, visit clients and project sites, support system planning and give guidance to PV system installations, service strategy implementation etc.
  • Lead the negotiation with local service partner including 3rd party service company, logistic and warehouse vendor, manage the contract with local service partner including but not limited to draft, re-new, termination.
  • Follow RMA process to make sure they will be closed on-time.
  • Responsible for developing solutions to optimize the local service quality including technical guidance, service respond time, spare unit pool management, faulty unit disposal, total costs.

Requirements:

  • Can accept national and international travel to make sure the local service team deliver a good service, depends on business request.
  • English and German fluently in business contexts.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in the renewable industry, preferably in an inverter manufacturer.
  • Bachelor degree or above: must be electrical or electronics background.
  • Self-driven working mind set, willing to dig in and find out problems, report with clear logic, always providing multi proposals to choose from.
  • International mindset for a multi-cultural environment.
