My client is looking to bring on a Senior Director of Finance to support their existing NYISO and Mid-Atlantic portfolio of BESS & Community solar projects. If you have 7 years of finance experience this opportunity is for you!
You will excel in this role by driving the commercial success of the company’s solar & BESS portfolio by bridging financial strategy with sell-side deal execution.
You will be responsible for: Identifying and screening potential acquisitions or divestitures to expand or optimize the company's asset portfolioPartnering with leadership to develop budgets and forecasts, ensuring project-level results align with overall corporate targetsBuilding initial models based on assumptions for construction costs, permitting, and operating performance to test economic viabilityYou will have: 7 years of professional experience in financial analysis, M&A, or project finance, with a specific focus on renewable energy (solar/BESS)Sell-Side M&A experienceAnalyzed projects from early-stage development, through ready-to-build (RTB), to operational status, ensuring all milestones for sale are met.Evaluated and mitigated project-level risks, including interconnection queue uncertainty, basis differentials, curtailment, PPA offtake economics, and BESS degradation Read less
