Projektentwickler PV & BESS (m/w/d)

Für ein etabliertes Unternehmen im Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien suchen wir einen Projektentwickler PV & BESS (m/w/d), der Energieprojekte von der ersten Flächenbewertung über Genehmigungs- und Planungsthemen bis zur Baureife begleitet.
Der Fokus liegt auf Batteriespeicher- (BESS) und Photovoltaikprojekten. Das Unternehmen entwickelt eigene Projekte, übernimmt aber auch Entwicklungsprojekte im Rahmen von Projektankäufen und begleitet diese bis zur Umsetzung.

Ihre Aufgaben
Entwicklung von PV-Freiflächen- und BatteriespeicherprojektenPrüfung und Bewertung neuer Projekt- und FlächenpotenzialeBegleitung und Steuerung von Genehmigungs- und PlanungsverfahrenUnterstützung bei Bauleitplanverfahren sowie der BaurechtschaffungAbstimmung mit Behörden, Kommunen, Grundstückseigentümern und weiteren StakeholdernSteuerung externer Gutachter, Planungsbüros und DienstleisterPrüfung von Ankaufprojekten und Analyse projektbezogener DatenräumeDurchführung von Standort- und WirtschaftlichkeitsbewertungenProjektmanagement bis zur BaureifeSicherstellung von Terminplänen und Projektfortschritten
Ihr Profil
Erste bis mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Projektentwicklung oder im Projektmanagement von Energie-, Infrastruktur- oder BauprojektenKenntnisse in Genehmigungsverfahren, Bauleitplanung, Planungsrecht oder BaurechtErfahrung im Bereich Photovoltaik, Batteriespeicher, Windenergie, Infrastruktur oder vergleichbaren Projekten
Hintergrund beispielsweise in:

Project Developer (Solar & BESS)

Location: Hessen, Germany (Hybrid: 4 days office, 1 day home office)
An established renewable energy developer is looking for a Project Developer to support the development of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across Germany.
This is a hands-on project development role rather than a management position. The successful candidate will actively drive projects through the full development lifecycle and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring projects from early-stage development through to implementation.

Key Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in renewable energy project developmentProven experience across the full project development lifecycleExperience with utility-scale solar and/or BESS projectsStrong understanding of permitting, land acquisition and project execution processesFluent German language skillsStable career history with demonstrated long-term commitment in previous rolesProactive, hands-on and self-driven approach
Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects through all development phasesCoordinate with landowners, authorities, consultants and internal teamsSupport permitting and project approval processesDrive project milestones and timelinesCollaborate with technical, commercial and regulatory stakeholders
Please note: This is a hybrid role not a remote position. Candidates should be comfortable being in the office four days per week.

They specialise in the development and operation of PV plants, as well as energy storage systems with between 30-40 projects in their pipeline in Austria alone.

As a Senior Project Developer, you'll be at the forefront of developing solar park projects and innovative storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead presentations, negotiations, and discussions with landowners, authorities, and municipalities.
Create project plans and manage project timelines.
Prepare and submit permit applications and environmental assessments.
Coordinate with stakeholders to secure project approvals.
What You Bring:
Degree in Renewable Energy or a related field.
Proven experience in project development within Austria.
Strong understanding of project finance and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Fluency in German and English.
Willingness to travel across Austria.

What's on Offer:
Up to €90,000 base salary, dependent on experience.
