Project Developer (Solar & BESS)
Location: Hessen, Germany (Hybrid: 4 days office, 1 day home office)
An established renewable energy developer is looking for a Project Developer to support the development of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across Germany.
This is a hands-on project development role rather than a management position. The successful candidate will actively drive projects through the full development lifecycle and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring projects from early-stage development through to implementation.

Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy project development
- Proven experience across the full project development lifecycle
- Experience with utility-scale solar and/or BESS projects
- Strong understanding of permitting, land acquisition and project execution processes
- Fluent German language skills
- Stable career history with demonstrated long-term commitment in previous roles
- Proactive, hands-on and self-driven approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects through all development phases
- Coordinate with landowners, authorities, consultants and internal teams
- Support permitting and project approval processes
- Drive project milestones and timelines
- Collaborate with technical, commercial and regulatory stakeholders
