£50000 - £60000 per annum, Benefits: Competitive Package

An Innovative and forefront energy firm located in Ireland are seeking an experienced Scenario Planning Team Lead to join their Planning Team. As a Scenario Planning Team Lead, you must have a minimum of 8 years' experience post qualification and must have gained exposure on the planning and analysis side in relation to Power Systems.

We are seeking a highly technical candidate that can lead a team where you will plan the power systems and market for the future and innovate in how the team can operate and developer the grid to ensure the team meet the climate change targets and decarbonise the electricity system.

As a Scenario Planning Team Lead, we are seeking some  who can lead on the following:
Lead in the development of energy scenarios which includes the storyline development, analysis of the industry and consumer trends
Engagement with stakeholders to capture industry, government and regulatory input
Maintain external and internal relationships
Lead the development of the Grid Codes and comply with the relevant legislation and accommodate new technologies onto the power systems
Lead the development on new transmission investment policies

Essential Skills Required:
Must have a minimum of 8 years' experience post qualification within the industry
Must have experience working on the planning and analysis side of Power Systems
Must come from an Engineering background. Degree in either, electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering
Must have experience working with analysis tools such as: PSSE, DigSilent or Power Factory
Experience with Python is highly desired
Experience with Loadflow for analysis activity is also highly desired
