JD Ross Energy and a Global Solar Energy company have united to support the expansion of their operations and have opened an opportunity for a Logistics Officer to be based in either Sydney Melbourne or Brisbane with FIFO work involved in regional NSW.

Our client has amassed a remarkable portfolio around the world and has expertise in developing and constructing solar projects on a utility scale basis.

  • Organising, managing and monitoring all matters pertaining to the construction site logistics.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team and subcontractors to ensure precision and the timely delivery of all required materials and equipment.
  • Logistics project implementation, including vessel unloading and port operation in Australian ports, land transportation management, tools return, local import/export customs issue support, lifting instructions among others.
  • Guarantee safety measures are in place and implemented relating to logistics.
  • Arranging and supporting the cost accounting of supply chain costs in projects and providing respective reporting to Project Controlling and Project Management.
  • Involvement in logistics of solar projects in Australia.
  • Capability to work alongside stakeholders to synchronise delivery of logistics services in support of contractor operations.
  • Construction experience on a large scale solar plant.
  • Familiarity with appropriate supply chain software.
