My client is looking to bring on a Senior Director of Finance to support their existing NYISO and Mid-Atlantic portfolio of BESS & Community solar projects. If you have 7 years of finance experience this opportunity is for you!
 
You will excel in this role by driving the commercial success of the company’s solar & BESS portfolio by bridging financial strategy with sell-side deal execution.
 
You will be responsible for:
  • Identifying and screening potential acquisitions or divestitures to expand or optimize the company's asset portfolio
  • Partnering with leadership to develop budgets and forecasts, ensuring project-level results align with overall corporate targets
  • Building initial models based on assumptions for construction costs, permitting, and operating performance to test economic viability
You will have:
  • 7 years of professional experience in financial analysis, M&A, or project finance, with a specific focus on renewable energy (solar/BESS)
  • Sell-Side M&A experience
  • Analyzed projects from early-stage development, through ready-to-build (RTB), to operational status, ensuring all milestones for sale are met.
  • Evaluated and mitigated project-level risks, including interconnection queue uncertainty, basis differentials, curtailment, PPA offtake economics, and BESS degradation
